IMPORTANCE OF STIMULATION REALISED BY BRITAIN (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, June 22. (Received Juno 23, at 1 p.m.) “ His Majesty’s Government attaches the greatest importance to the stimulation of international trade,” Mr Oliver Stanley told tho House of Commons when answering a question on what steps were being taken to implement the desire expressed by the Imperial Conference in this respect. The President of the Board of Trade added that the Government proposed, with this object, to continue its policy of concluding, in appropriate cases, a bi-lateral trade agreement of which the benefits wero generalised under the most favoured nation clause. He also referred to the inquiries being conducted by the Belgian Prime Minister (M. Van Zeeland).
