The President of the Board of Trade added that the Government proposed, with this object, to continue its policy of concluding, in appropriate cases, a bi-lateral trade agreement of which the benefits wero generalised under the most favoured nation clause. He also referred to the inquiries being conducted by the Belgian Prime Minister (M. Van Zeeland).
