In the women’s singles, first round, Senorita Lizana defeated Miss G. Osborne, 6-2, 6-2: Mile Jedrzejowska defeated 1 T iss S. Noel, 6-2, 6-0 ; Countess de la Valdene defeated Miss James, 6-4. 6-0. In the second round Miss H. Jacobs defeated Miss E. Harvey, 6-2, 6-1; Mine Sperling defeated Frl Baumgarten, 6-2, 6-0; Miss Marble defeated Miss Hardwich, 9-11, 6-4, 6-3.
