Andre Geraud, better known as “ Pertinax,” has resigned from the ‘ Echo de Paris,’ with others, following a split between a majority of the shareholders and M. Henri Simond, son of the founder of the paper, and the holder ‘of about 45 per cent, of the shares, who is now retiring. REPORT DENIED. PARIS, May 13. (Received May 14, at noon.) w Pertinax ” denies that he has resigned from the * Echo do Paris.’
