AUSTIN WINS THE SINGLES Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 1. The hard court championship finals resulted as follow: Men’s Singles.—Austin defeated Lee, 6-2, 6-2, 6-0. Women’s _ Singles.—Senorita Lizana defeated Miss Scriven, 7-5, 6-3. Men’s Doubles.—Hare and Wilde defeated Hughes and Tuckey, 6-2, 6-4, 7-9, 6-4. Tho winners reversed last year’s Wimbledon final, suggesting their possibility as a Paris .Cup pair.
