I—Ministerial.—- 1 —Ministerial.—The Minister of Agriculture (Hon. W. Lee Martin) left Wellington for Hamilton last night and win return to Wellington to-morrow. The Minister of Railways and of Industries and Commerce (Hon. D. G. Sullivan) left Wellington for the south on Saturday night. He will return north on Wednesday. Mr G. J. Walker went to Tiinaru by to-day’s express. Mr T. P. Williamson, accompanied by Mrs Williamson, left by this morning’s train on the first stage of a trip to England. At the monthly social of the Scottish Society, Mr Jas. Caldwell (chairman), on behalf of the executive, presented the sectetaiw, Mr Archie M'Eachean, with a fireside chair oh the occasion of his approaching marriage to Miss Agnes Hyslop. ' Latest guests at the Grand Hotel are Mr Tascha Horenstein (Vienna), Mr W. T. Miller (Washington), Mr, W. M. Finley (Chicago), Mr G. H, Worrall (London), Mr J. D. Spedding (Sydney), Mr A. G. Alexander (Auckland), Mrs J. P. Martin, Mr S.Greig, and Mr W. D. Gordon (Wellington) . Mr and Mrs Albertson (Blenheim), Mr Terence J. Kellaway and Mr T. A. Campbell (Christchurch), Mr and Mrs J. W. Smith, Miss Daphne Smith, Miss Eileen Mehaffey, Miss Marjorie Mehaffey, Mrs M. M. Stead, Miss B. Miller, and Mr P. H. Nicholson (Invercargill), and Miss Z. W* Niehol, and Mr L. A. Nichol (Bluff).
