CRICKET SEASON ENDS
LAST MATCH AT AUCKLAND [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, April 11. The final match of the cricket season was commenced yesterday, when North Shore, the champion senior eleven for two years in succession, met a side representing the rest of Auckland. North Shore batted first and compiled the moderate total of 194 (Emery 61 not out, Sale 39, Dacre 29). Matheson, an Auckland and former New Zealand representative, took six wickets for 69. The Rest replied with 50 for two wickets.
