CROQUET ITEMS
The Dunedin team picked to play against the Gore players to-day was: —Mesdames Cornish, Gillanders, Halliday, Halstead, Munro, M‘Gregor, Messrs J. Nichol and J. Tannock. The following is the Gore team: —Mr and Mrs R. W. M‘Greath, Mrs M'Leod, Mrs Brown, Mrs Pettigrew, Mrs Ritchie, Mrs Robertson, Mrs Caverhill. The games were played at the Watea lawns, and this evening the visitors will be entertained at a picture party at the Regent Theatre, followed by supper at the Savoy. Association Party. The Otago Croquet Association has arranged a party at the Vedio on April 20, when the shields, ferns, and buttons will be presented. Bridge and “ 500 ” will be played. Punga Club. The closing day for this club will be on Saturday next, when the trophies will be presented. The annual meeting will be held on May 13.
