MOSGIEL COURT
The following case? were dealt with at the Mosgiel Court yesterday by Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M. • Stanley Gibson yas fined 10s and costs (10s) for riling au unlighted bicycle. . , For leaving motoi cars at night without the prescribe! lights, William Blackie, jun., was fined 20s and costs (10s), and Willian John Mawhinney Williams and lan Stott were each fined 10s and costs (10s), Judgment by default was given for the plaintiffs in tin following cases:— Andrew Moore v. Hugh M'Lean, claim £37 ss, rent owing, with costs (£4 3s 6d) ; Tims. J. Finnic v. C. T. Henderson, claim £2 12s pd, work done, with costs (£1 7s 6d) ; fame v. M. H. Ponsford, claim 10s, being costs of action. On a judgment spumous Butterfields Ltd. proceeded ngiinst John M'Neill Gray for the suinjof £4 17s 6d. An order was made forimmediate payment of the amount, wiih costs (6s), in default five days’ imjjrisonmcnt.
