STRANDED TRAWLER
REFLOATING EFFORT THIS EVENING [Per United Press Association.] GISBORNE, March 13. Surf conditions at Waikanae* Bead) had improved sufficiently this morning to enable a start to be made with efforts to refloat the trawler Marino, which was stranded on Thursday night. The vessel had moved further up the beach during last night, but this morning a, wire hawser was taken ashore, and it is hoped to refloat the vessel during high tide this evening.
