OBITUARY
W. GRAHAM BROWNE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, March 11. (Received March 12, at 11 a.m.) The death is announced of W. Graham Browne, actor and husband of Mario Tempest, who says she will play to-night, as it was her husband’s last wish. Mr Browne died from double pneumonia. He became ill on March 3. Both on the previous evening were received by Queen Mary during the interval of the play. [W. Graham Browne made his first appearance on the London stage in 1891. He remained with Beerbohm Tree for two years, and then toured with F. R. Benson. Later he visited America, Australia (with Mario Tempest), South Africa, India, China, Japan, and returned to England in 1922. He produced most of the plays he appeax-ed in since 1911, and was known as on© of the most capable producers in London.]
