MEN’S A GRADE The Roslyn men’s A grade, which met Kaituna on Saturday for the right to play Otago in the final of the competition, gained a victory by the narrow margin of three games, matches and sets-being even. The match was not completed on Saturday Owing to rain, the concluding games being played last night. The following are the detailed scores:— Singles.—Boyd beat Bryan, 6-5, 4-6, 9-7; Sherriff lost to Rawliuson, 4-6, 6-5, 4-6; Laidlaw beat Grirasdale, 6-0, 6-3; Phillipps lost to Sincock, 4-6, 2-6. Doubles.—'Boyd and Laidlaw lost to Bryan and Rawlihson, 3-6, 2-6; Sherriff and Phillipps beat Grimsdale and Sincock, 6-4, 6-5. Totals: Otago, 3 matches, 7 sets (71 games); Kaituna, 3 matches, 7 sets (68 games).
