TO-MORROW'S CONFERENCE [Pee United Press Association.] . WELLINGTON. February 16. The conference of the New Zealand Library Association will open to-mor-row. One of the most interesting features is expected to be a symposium of library ideals and how: they are being realised. A Dultedin remit suggests that in order to develop the book resources of the Dominion for the serious student and technician the libraries be invited to co-operate in a scheme of iuterllbrary loans. • , Canterbury has a remit drawing the attention of the Government to the unnecessary mutilation of magazines by the censor whereby portions of reading matter are rendered useless and the public encouraged to further mutilation. During the conference Professor Shelly will deliver a talk on broadcasting libraries and adult education.
