The following information is supplied, regarding the London markets, by the Primary Products Marketing Department, which has received a cable from London:— “ Butter.—New Zealand salted, 85s to 86s; unsalted, 945; deliveries, 2,696 tons; in store, 4,826 tons, including 18,090 boxes of lluahine; retail prices unchanged; market quiet. 1 Cheese.—New Zealand white, 52s to 545; coloured, 52s to 62s 6d; exceptional, 53s ; deliveries, 20,622_ crates; in store. 42,410 crates, including 4,397 crates of Ruahine. The secretary of the Gillespie’s Beach Gold Dredging Co. Ltd., reports that the return for the week ended February 12 amounted to 930 z 14dwt for 128 hours’ work. The dredge is at present working the full length of the cut.
