TERMS OF SETTLEMENT
AMERICAN MOTOR STRIKE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREED TO Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright DETROIT, February 11. Points in the settlement of the strike are that General Motors during the next six months will bargain _ collectively with the A.W.U. exclusively in 20 plants closed by the strikers. The union will evacuate the plants forthwith, and all strikers will be reinstated. General Motors will withdraw the injunction against the “ sit-down ” strikers. STRIKERS LEAVE PLANTS. DETROIT, February 12. Nearly 900 motor strikers marched from three plants, cheering. They were met at the gates by rejoicing relatives and friends. General Motors announced the resumption of production on Monday in more than 30 industrial cities, and expects to be operating at capacity within 12 days. The employers promised to pay a rise of 5 cents an hour, which will amount in a normal year to 25,000,000d01.
