Ginger Rogers is guarded by Federal agents following receipt of two letters threatening the life of her mother and herself unless 5,000d0l were paid to the writer, SAILOR APPREHENDED LOS ANGELES, December 6. James Hall, aged 20, a sailor on the naval aircraft carrier Lexington, has been arrested in conectipn with the threat to Ginger Rogers. The Department. of Justice agents trapped him in a cafe from which the letter which demanded the money had been brought.
