TENDERS are Invited for the PURCHASE OF THE WHOLE OF THE SHIPMENTS OP BANANAS FROM TONGA during the Calendar YEAR 1937, on the following conditions: — (1) Price quoted, to be per case f.o.b Nukualofa and/or Vavau. (2) Tenders to be for: — Approximately 2,340 cases ' January. to April inclusive. Approximately 1,840 cases May ,t« September inclusive. Approximately 2,380 cases October, Approximately 2,430 cases November. Approximately 2,520 cases December. NOTE.—Arrangements have been made with the Union Steam Ship Company for the m.v. Matua, which has refrigerated space, to v maintain a monthly service between Tonga and Auckland. It is also the intention of the Union Steam ' Ship Company to have the Matua discharge at Wellington as well as Auckland from January to April and from October to December inclusive. (3) Quantities subject to adjustment if .quotas altered. .
