NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF SPECIAL ORDER MAKING PROPOSED BY-LAW No. 28, 1936. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dunedin City Council, at a Special Meeting convened for the. purpose and held on Tuesday, 27th day of October, 1936, passed the following Resolution—vis.:— 1. That the Dunedin City Council Hereby resolves, pursuant to the power and authority vested in it by the “ Municipal Corporations Act, 1933," and of all and every other power and authority therewith in tha> behalf enabling it to make a By-law (a draft of which ie submitted herewith) amending and extending the provisions of By-laws No.' 1 and No. 7 respectively of the said City end in particular for the purpose (inter alia) of (a) making further provisions with regard to lodging houses and boarding houses and the licensing thereof, and (b) repealing Section 3 of By-law No. 14 of the said City and substituting therefor an amended scale of charges for the slaughtering of stock' at the City Abattoir, for the use of the Abattoir, and for housing and feeding stock at the Abattoir while awaiting slaughter. 2. That this Resolution be submitted to an ordinary meeting of the said Council to be held on Monday, the 7th day of December, 1936, for confirmation, on which date the proposed _ By-law will also be submitted for adoption. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the aforesaid Resolution will be submitted to an ordinary meeting of the said Council to be held at the Town Hall, Dunedin, on Monday, the 7th day of December, 1936, for confirmation as a special order, to which meeting the said By-law will also be submitted for adoption.
