GIVING UP FARM
ERNLE CLARK TO FLY [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, December 6. Mr Ernie Clark, the young Canterbury farmer, who recently flew from England to New Zealand, has decided to give up farming for aviation. In a statement to a reporter to-day Clark said: “ I have just returned from Wellington, where.l saw the Prime Minister and the Controller of Civil Aviation. As I wish to give my undivided attention to aviation I shall probably be selling my farm at Waikari the near future.’’ Mr Clark would say no more about his plans except to say that he thought he would be staying in New Zealand, with his headquarters at Christchurch.
