The first grade matches, whicli commenced last Saturday, will he continued to-morrow afternoon, . At Carisbrook, the University-Caris-brook A match is in an interesting position, though Carisbrook appear to have the game in hand, having scored 126. University (71, and one for 2 in their second innings) will have to score quickly to make up a good total to enable them to beat Carisbrook. The match between Grange and Old Boys on the North Ground also is in a very interesting position. Grange put up a good score of 23C, while Old Boys have 48 without loss. fn the matqh between Dunedin and Albion the latter have scored 134, while Dunedin have five down for 77.
' Kaikorai are in a strong position against Carishrook B. having 220 for four against Carishrook B's 150. Kaikorai will, no doubt, tfndeavour to get an eight-point win. As the weather appears promising some good scoring should be witnessed in to-morrow’s matches.
