TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —-In an answer to a correspondent, “ Curious,” in last night’s issue, you state that a film version of ‘ Captain Blood ’ has, as far as you could ascertain, never been shown in Dunedin prior to the ore recently shown. Before the introduction of the talkies this picture was shown during Winter Show Week in 1926 or 1927 at Everybody’s Theatre. I saw the picture, and have a copy of the book containing eight illustrations taken from the film.—l am, etc., J. W. Kane. August 9.
