Arch Druid Bro. Borthwick presided at tho meeting of Enterprise Lodge, held on Wednesday last. An invitation was received from Good Intent Lodge to attend the presentation of tho Ross Stewart Shield and accepted. The Royal Arch Chapter forwarded the judges’ report on tho recent Ross Stewart Shield competition, which was held over until nest lodge night. Owing to an error in the syllabus, and as next lodge night is quarter night, the anniversary social was postponed until September 2. During, the evening one_ proposition for membership was .received. The members’ wives and lady friends were admitted to a social evening. During the early stages of the evening various games were played, Mrs J. B. Welsh proving the winner, and after supper, with Bro. J. B. Welsh at the piano, dancing was indulged in. Arch Druid Bro. W. Holdaway presided at the meeting of the Lily of the Valley Lodge on Wednesday last. An invitation, to the next meeting of the Royal Arch Chapter, when the primitive degree will be granted, was received. The lodge decided to visit Good Intent Lodge officially on July 12. Notification was received that tire Lily officers were successful in winning the opening and closing charge, ana the shield will be presented at Good Intent Lodge on Wednesday night. Notice from the Board of Management was received stating that the grand president and his officers will visit the lodge on Wednesday, September 30. The syllabus for 1937 was presented by the secretary, and with a few amendments adopted; One new member was proposed.
