LITTLE THEATRE FESTIVAL
THREE PLAYS TO-NICHT To-night will see the opening of still another distinguished* attraction in the Little Theatre, King street, and under the auspices of the Dunedin -Little Theatre Society (Inc.). At 8 o’clock the curtain will be drawn on the first one-act play of the society’s drama festival, ‘ Sganaselle.’ This will be followed by ‘ Flittering Light ’ and * News Liberties.’ The adjudicator is Major F* H. Lampen, whose award will decid« which of the nine plays to be presented during dbe festival will compete in the British’ Drama League festival next week. A great deal of time has been invested in the preparation of this festival—an entirely novel move as far as individual societies are concerned—and members and the general public are asked to support the scores of men and women who are taking part in the various casts. Twenty-five per cent, of the proceeds is being devoted to the local branch of the Crippled Children Society.
