JUNIOR ORCHESTRA
To-morrow evening, at 8, the first concert of the fourth season" will take place in the Concert Chamber, Town Hall. Mr C. Roy Spackma'n, the conductor, has arranged a very attractive programme, which will include the overture, ‘Marionettes’ (by Gurlitt), * Blue Danube ’ waltzs, ‘ The WaJtz ■ (from ‘Coppelia Ballet Music,’ by Delibes), Boccherini’s minuet for strings, * Tannhauser ’ march, ‘ Clods and the Dresden China’ (by Ketelbey), (donated by Mr W. Hopkins), 1 Rubinstein Reve Angelique ’ (presented by M. de Rose). Mr Colin Oliver will be the solosist. Tickets are on sale from members and at Begg’s. Subscribing members may be enrolled at a fee of 5s for the season (two tickets per concert, reserved). Box plan is at Begg’s.
