Jefferson defeated M. Wilkinson, 1 up. In' the first round of the knock-out competition for the Strang Cup Mrs Clulee beat Miss A. R. Bell, Miss Taylor beat Mrs Harrison, Miss Burt beat Miss Reilly, Miss M’Leod beat Mrs Daglisli, Mrs Morrison beat Miss Given, Miss Pollock beat Miss Mullengcr, Miss N. Bell beat Mrs Hopkins, Miss Brewer beat Miss Orr, Miss Kiuaston beat Miss Jefferson, Miss M'lver beat Miss Hastings, Miss M'Kenzie beat Miss Robinson, Miss Thomas beat Mrs Cramroond, Mrs Falconer beat Mrs Cartwright, Miss Wilkinson beat Mrs Campbell. In the C grade match Miss Clarke was the winner of the silver button presented by Mr Gregory.
