RETURNED SOLDIERS
EXECUTIVE MEETING A meeting of the Dunedin Returned Soldiers’ Association Executive was held last evening. Mr H. L. Paterson was in the chair and others present were Messrs N. R. Wilson, W. F. Forrester, P. S, Andrews. K. Cameron, A. Gordon, and A. B. Natusch. The figures in the membership campaign between the Dunedin and Christchurch Associations are; Dunedin, 1.473; Christchurch, 1,210. Twenty nominations had been received for membership, while there had been two transfers in and one out. It was decided to withhold reports of the conference in Wellington until the next meeting when the delegates had returned. . It was agreed that the Community Sing Committee be asked to present a report on the sings. It was pointed out that those that had been held so far this year had not-proved financially successful, and it was suggested that it might be better if they were discontinued.
