ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
THROWN FROM BOLTING HORSE.
Fatally injured when he wae throw* from a bolting horse, Darrell Leslie, aged about 40, a stable hand employed by L. G. Paul, of Wanganui East, died in hospital last night. The horse from which Leslie was thrown slipped on the asphalt road below the Aramoho railway bridge after bolting about a mile. The deceased had been m.Paul a employ for the past 12 years, and prior to that had been in several of the leading stables in the Dominion, having been with""J. H. Jefferd,' J* Proseer, T? Lloyd, and James Bull at different times.' He was a popular figure on the Wanganui tracks, where he was known by the nickname of “ Nap.” -
