A GENEROUS RESPONSE

TITANIA'S PALACE NETTS OVER £BOO Over £BOO will ho contributed to the crippled children's fund through the exhibition in Dunedin since May 21 of Titania’s Palace. Though this amount may not have reached the total realised in the other centres, the contribution of this city to a most deserving cause can be counted ns a very generous one, typical of a public that appreciates anything artistic. The palace is truly one of the wonders of the world. The palace’s season definitely closes at 5.30 this evening, and immediately it is to be literally demolished and packed into a special crate, the whole weighing nearly four tons, for transport to Invercargill. Throughout last night and this morning, with the exception during the latter period of a lull between noon and 2 p.m., the display was visited by hundreds of admiring patrons, and this morning it was seen by orphanage children and primary school pupils. The palace will continue its tour in Canada after being shown in the Southland citv.
