THE GOVERNMENT'S PROPOSALS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright BERNK. June 11. (Received June J2, at 1 p.m.) The Council of States approved of a credit of £15,000.000 to strengthen the defences. Half will bo devoted to antiaircraft defences for the principal cities and the remainder to fortifications, armaments, and aeroplanes.
