A deputation from tho New Zealand Alliance of Labour and the Trades ami Labour Council waited bn the Prime Minister (Mr Savage) and the Minister of Labour (Mr Armstrong) to-day, complaining that by the formation of guilds, which were really company unions inspired by the employers, attempts wore being made to undermine tho industrial legislation being passed by the Government. “ It we find anyone running us into a blind alley he is not going to keep us there long,” said the Prime Minister in reply. “They arc not getting away with anything.
