LLOYDS INVESTIGATIONS AT SALVAGE ISLANDS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 19. (Received May 20, at 11.55 a.m.) Lloyd’s have instructed their Las Palmas representative to go to the Salvage Islands to investigate the report that the trawler Girl Pat was there. [A message received yesterday stated: The British steamer Avoceta advises Lloyd’s that when passing the Salvage Islands, 180 miles west of Madeira, yesterday she saw an anchored fishing vessel answering to the description of the Girl Pat. Several boats were working close inshore.!
