(Received May 1, at 1 p.m.) Mr Neville Chamberlain, who was seeing the chairman of Lloyd’s again in reference to the leakage of Budget secrets, expects to make a statement in the House of Commons early next week.
Major Attlee, in the House, said the matter could not be allowed 1 to drift. Labour members would ask for a debate if an early statement was not made.
