REVIVALIST MEETING
MR EDWIN ORR Mr -T. Edwin Orr, evangelist, author, and traveller, spoke again last night in the Hanover Street Baptist Church, which was completely filled. He took as his subject Romans vi., verse 1: “ Shall wo persist in sinning,” and after he had related some of his adventures through Trance and Southern Europe on to Turkey he appealed to Christians to confess and repent of their sin and right themselves with God before they had any right to expect nonChristians to become converted. Mr Git’s message was very searching, and there was a good response to his appeal. The last hour was spent in open confessions, prayer, and praise. To-morrow, in the Salvation Army Citadel, Air Orr will again speak, and also on Sunday in the Trinity Methodist Church. Stuart street. On Sunday he will speak in the Concert Chamber on ‘ Soviet Russia and Why L Am a Revolutionist,’ and will give his final address on Sunday night in the Concert Hall.
