BIG MELBOURNE FIRE
FACTORY SERIOUSLY DAMAGED

MELBOURNE, May 1. (Received May 1, at 11 a.m.) Damage estimated at £40,000 wa* caused by fire which seriously damaged the three-story factory of the Korni* Food Company at Carlton. The blaze was one of the most spectacular seen in Melbourne for some years, large quantities of inflammable goods stored in the top story burning fiercely.
