'Marshal Badoglio’s continued postponement of the attack is causing much anxious speculation, the people uneasily wondering what obstacles are ing him. Activity is confined to sporadic and not very successful bombardments of Ras Kassa’s forces, the Abyssiniaus replying vigorously with anti-aircraft guns. A later Rome message states that Marshal Badoglio’s communique announces that the Italians have occupied Amba Alagi. USE OF MUSTARD GAS ADDIS ABABA, February 28. (Received February 29, at noon.) The Red Cross units on the northern fronts urgently require antidotes for mustard gas, which the Italians are reported to be using on a considerable scale. The Abyssinian Government spokesman denied as grotesque the reports from Rome and Djibouti that the Emperor Selassie is ill. OIL DISCUSSION PENDING (British Official Wireless.)
