In the Dai), Mr M'Kntee (Minister of Finance), moving the second reading of the Bill to confirm the orders in connection with the Anglo-Irish agreement, said that the British and Free State Exchequers thereby would lose £BOO,OOO and £200,000 respectively from duties, but that both would gain considerably from the trade agreement without prejudice to other Anglo-Irish issues. It was the expression of a coidial desire for trade.
