MADRIGAL CHOIR

On Monday evening next, in the Concert Chamber, a musical entertainment, which is said to differ from the usual, will be presented by the young Madrigal Choir, a branch of the Choral Society. Knotting how well received was its singing of the madrigals and part-songs fit recent appearances, the choir has determined to make this, its first complete concert, of special merit, and to that end has prepared not only an outstanding programme of glees, convivial songs, and part-songs, but has also secured an excellent group of supporting artists. Madame Winnie Fraser will sing modern ballads. Miss Mary Pratt will be heard in some of her most effective numbers.
