INFANT MORTALITY
ENGLISH RATE LOWERED (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, January 25. Provisional figures for 1935 issued by the Registrar-General show the lowest rates on record for infant mortality. The rate for England and Wales was 57 deaths of under one year per 1,000 live births, compared with 59 in 1934 and 64 in 1933.
