Covering 50yds in the junior girls free style championship heat, Miss Nawi Kera (South Auckland) equalled the ■\'cn' Zealand record of 29 4-ssec at the national junior and intermediate swimr’ing championships at Hamilton this morning. As when she broke the record on Saturday, she was never pressed by the opposition, and won her heat comfortably by a considerable margin. With the exception of the 220yds intermediate hoys’ free style, where the first and second placings only enter the final, the three placed competitors have qualified for the finals.
