MELBOURNE. January 27. (Received January 27, at 11 a.m.) Three armed thieves, in a daring raid on Victoria Markets, held up and bound two nightwatchmen and ransacked the store. They cut the wires of the burglar alarm and escaped in a car with tobacco valued at £3OO. The constable on beat duty found the trussed-up watchmen.
