BIG INCREASE SINGE SEPTEMBER tires* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright BERLIN, January 9. (Received January 10, at 2 p.rn.) Unemployment in December increased by 522,354, which is over double the increase in December, 1934. Unemployment has increased nearly 800,000 since September 1, and now totals 2,500,000. The increase occurred despite at least 200,000 being removed from the labour market since conscription was introduced.
