STRATEGIC RAILWAY
TO BE BUILT IN EGYPT Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright CAIRO, January 9. (Received January 10, at 2 p.m.) Cabinet has decided to appropriate £94,000 ’towards the building of a 50mile strategic railway from Fouka to Meraamtrtlh, which at present has no railway communication with the remainder of Egypt. Great Britain is contributing £20,000.
