The final of the Monte Carlo competition for the lady’s costume and man’s suit was won fcy, Mr and Mrs Neilson. -Other Monte Carlo winners were Miss Beck and Miss Donaldson, also Miss Doro and M'lndo. Lucky spot winners were Mis* Rust and Mr Lawsoa, and mistletoe dance, winners. Miss Smith and Mr Mackay. Another function’ was staged by the committee in the South Dunedin. Town Hall on New Year’s night. The Regal Dance Band supplied the music and were great favourites with the public. The Monte Carlo winner* on this occasion were Mrs Jarvie and Mrs Walker, also Mr Johnson and Mis* Cairns.
