Mr Lloyd Powell, examiner for the Royal Schools of Music, London, waa a through passenger from Invercargill to Christchurch by this morning’s express.

Mr E. O. Hands (general manager), Mr H. D. Vickery (chaiVman), and Mr J, R. Smith (chief engineer of the New Zealand Broadcasting Board) left for Wellington by this morning’s train. They were accompanied by Mr G, Robertson, New Zealand manager of Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia) Ltd., and Mr H. G. Livingstone, a member of -the board, who is travelling to Christchurch.

Miss Dorothy Clark, the South African contralto, who has been fulfilling broadcasting engagements in Dunedin for the last 10 days, left for Wellington this morning. Mr A. S. Cookson left to-day for Wellington.

Mr A. J. Allen was a passenger by the express this morning for Wellington.

Hon, F. Waite, M.L-C., left for Oemaru this morning. Delegates from the various Otago and Southland lodges, including P.G.M. E. W, G, H, Watts and Prov. G.M, F. S. Bridgman, left 'by the express this morning for Christchurch to attend the Grand Lodge of New Zealand Communication. Mr E. J. Riches, New Zealand member of the economic section of the International Labour Office,-who is visiting New Zealand on furlough, arrived in Dunedin last evening. Mr Riches, who is accompanied hy his wife, ia taking the opportunity to gather information on industrial subjects for the International Labour Office during his visits to the main centres of the Dominion. He will leave on Friday. The wedding took place quietly at Auckland yesterday morning of Mr W, G. Woblmann, Commissioner of Police, and Miss Christine Laura Stone, or Auckland. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. E. D. Patchett at the Epsom. Methodist Church. Mr R. J, Watts, manager of the local branch of J. B. Butler Ltd., accompanied hy Mrs Watts, returned to Dunedin on Saturday from a trip abroad. Mr and Mrs Watts spent several months in England, and also paid a short visit to Belgium. Registrations at the Grand Hotel are Mr H. S. Brown (Sydney), Mr F. E„Dougall (Wellington). Mr H. G. Livingstone (Christchurch), and Mr Parcell (Cromwell).
