NOT A TRACE
SEARCH FOR AIRMAN ABANDONED l [Per United Press Association.] • NAPIER, August 12. With the arrival of both the official parties at their respective destinations yesterday afternoon, the search for Mr Hamish Armstrong was concluded with no trace having been found of the missing airman. The search will be discontinued, and the men who comprised the search parties will return to their homes. When summer conditions prevail and much of the snow on the ranges has cleared a search will be made for Mr Armstrong on the plateau where his aeroplane was found.
