SOUTH CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIP [P« United Press Association.] TIMARU, May 10, The semi-finals of the South Canterbury women’s championship were played to-day. Miss J. Horwell (Timaru). the holder, beat Mrs J. Tompler (Waimate) 3 and 2. Miss F. Pnngle (Timaru) beat Mrs W. A. Scott (Timaru) 1 up.
