A Scot was walking with a Roman Catholic friend -in London. On passing Westminster Cathedral his friend raised his hat, and the Scotsman followed suit. At this his friend said: “ You’re getting very pious, raising your hat as you pass the cathedral.” “Was that the cathedral?” the Scot replied. “ 1 thought it was the Bank of England.”
