At the fortnightly meeting of Triumph Juvenile Lodge Sister L. Lee presided over a large attendance of officers and members. Two candidates were initiated by the lodge officers. The competition for the greatest number of members is arousing keen interest and several nominations were received. In responding to the vote of thanks to the visitors, Supt. Sister Currie, of Pride of Valley Juveniles, complimented the lodge on its efficiency and progress and conveyed greetings from Pride of Valley. D.M. Bro. Cosgrove, of Triumph Lodge, also added his congratulations. Interesting addresses were then given by the super- | intendent. _ j At the quarterly meeting of Triumph I Lodge Bro. Mathewson presided over a j good attendance of officers and mem- | Iters. Visitors received included W.G.M. j Bro. J. Harvey and members of the i Grand Executive. An invitation to? visit Star of Southland was accepted, to take place after Easter. Remits for the Grand Council meeting were fully discussed and the delegates instructed how to act. After lodge business had been disposed of the W.G.M. gave a short address in which ho complimented the lodge on its efficiency, Several members of the Grand Executive also conveyed greetings. A pleasant social hour was spent after the meeting. At the fortnightly meeting of Valley True Blue there was a very good attendance, W.M, Bro. Reid presiding. The decision to move the lodge room to the Foresters’ Hall, Albany street, is a far-reaching one and will probably have a marked effect on the future of the lodge. The new room will be taken over late in Anril. Visitors present included W.M. Tiro. Mathewson and officers and members of Triumph. No. 9. A challenge was played off _ the Euchre Shield and resulted in Valley True Blue retaining it by a narrow margin. P.M. Bro. Perrin congratulated the winners, W.M. Bro. Reid responding. Supper was provided by the Social Committee.
