SHORTAGE OF WOOL
RESTRICTIONS IN GERMANY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright BERLIN, March 28. Owing to the shortage of foreign currencies the wool controller has curtailed the allotments to spinning mills and other manufacturers between April 1 and April 30 by thirty to fifty per cent., and has further restricted the use of wool to twenty per cent, of last year’s quantity. The reductions do not affect wool barter. The War Office, owing to the shortage of wool, has issued a decree that only small flags and fewer of them shall be ordered.
