BRIGHT VAUDEVILLE With a title appropriately in keeping with the typo of entertainment to gaily presented. ‘ The Show of Shows,' the current' revue of the Clem Dawo Company, is being acclaimed by largo audiences at His Majesty’s 'theatre. On Saturday night the versatile Clem Dawe'and Jiis equally versatile mirthmakers again scored with their bright entertainment, each of the '- list of varied sketches meeting with the reception it so richly deserved. As, usual Clem was the leading light in the majority of the presentations, his inimitable tomfoolery and incessant batter of humorous quips placing him on a plane of his own, though not at the expense of the assisting artists.- Miss Dorothy White, and Messrs Eric Edgley and Les White were, as usual, in excellent form, and formed an outlet for their talent in numerous and diversified numbers. This week’s programme is fully up to the high standard set by its predecessors, the type of vaudeville presented being of an excellent entertaining value. The ballet numbers, always a feature of the revues are capably carried out under the leadership oi Miss Edna Luscorabe and Miss Edna Moncrieff, while the vocal numbers are provided by Miss Lucianno and Miss Muriel O'Malley, whose duo presentations are outstanding, and Messrs Cliff o‘Keffe, Ralph Daly, and Joe Shriner. Mr Gregory Ivanoff renders several violin solos. The adagio dancers, Halliday and Watson, are outstanding.
