The ‘ News-Chronicle’s 1 Saarbruckei correspondent says; “ Realising, that the stream of refugees from the Saai is damaging German prestige, tin Nazis are trying to stop it. AntiNazis’ passports are being confiscate! in the streets, and the holders arc forced to apply to the commission foi fresh ones. Others who are preparin' to leave are being offered money tc stay, and promised immunity, to whid little credence is given. Denunciation! are in full sway, a favourable form o intimidation being to dig a pit in from of an anti-Nazi’s house, telling him “This will be your grave after Marcl 1.”
